1923 Admission 10-cent Sign

The 10 Cent admission sign comes from the original location in Florida City, where Ed’s place was known as Rock Gate. It is made from a different type of coral rock which features horizontal layers of coral.

Shaving Mirror

At Coral Castle, a simple yet ingenious fixture showcases Ed's resourcefulness: his "mirror" – a small, handmade basin that relies on water, rather than glass, to reflect one's image.

Ed’s Self Portrait

Outside the tool room is a very unusual sculpture made of coral rock, stone, and seashells, but upon closer inspection you will find a self-portrait of Ed.

Ed’s Cooker

Ed resourcefulness was exemplified by his innovative conversion of a 1920’s Model T Ford differential into a modern 1930’s – style cooking apparatus.

Three Ton Coral Gate

The three-ton triangular coral rock directional gate rotates 360 degrees either way and is situated just beyond the front entrance.
