Toured Coral Castle years ago - glad to see it's still open for tourists and students. Great example of country 'science' and one man's devotioin to his love. Hioghly recommended for all shun-pikers and explorers!

Didn't think it would be all that impressive when we pulled into the parking lot..but upon entering the castle/museum and taking a tour it was well worth the drive, money and time! Will highly recommend friends and family to this attraction for its eye catching and learning capabilities! Our blonde haired blue eyed tour guide (I'm sorry I cant' remember her name) was an absolute delight! :)

My husband and I visited the Coral Castle Museum on July 21, 2011. I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with this place, the work on a 100 pound 5 foot man named Ed Leedskalnin. I would advise that anyone who visits this place, don't just explore it independently. Request a tour using a tour guide. Your experience will be much richer. The creator of this museum was indeed quite remarkable, but at the same time he seemed rather peculiar based on the research. While it seems that he had a great love for Agnes Scuffs, for whom this was built, he also seemed quite chauvanistic in his thinking about a woman's and man's role in a relationship and even life. A tour guide can help you understand the complete dynamics of this edifice. I promise you, your experience won't be as rich if you don't share it with a guide. And by the way, don't let the West African lizards that run freely startle you. They appear to be just as leary of you as you may be of them. I'm glad I had this experience.

I never met Ed, nor actually visited 'Coral Castle,"
but I am in awe of this man and his Creation. Rest in
Peace, Ed. For whatever reasons, and however you made
this incredible work of art and mystery, I bow to you.

Perhaps someday, in another place, we'll meet and I can
tell you this in person.

Peace..........

STAN

On June 10, 2011 we had our beautiful wedding ceremony at Coral Castle. The entire staff was very nice and helpful to us on our special day and even during the preparation process. We would especially like to thank Laura Maye and Patricia for all of the help, input, and positivity throughout it all! The kindness and overall love we were shown is greatly appreciated! Laura Maye made sure our ceremony went according to our dream vision. While extensively helping with our wedding, Patricia also really went out of her way to make sure the history of Coral Castle was explained in great detail in a fun and exciting way. Our guests were awed by the information they learned. They could not stop telling us how amazing the location was and how great the entire staff took care of them. We will always remember how truly special our wedding day was in such an awesome and meaningful place!

Last Saturday, I took a friend to the Coral Castle.
She is an architect like me and was passing by Florida for the first time.
We were checking out all the monuments built by Ed and at the end, when we were in the tools shop, Patricia Paredes showed up and asked of if we had any questions.
She was very corteous, knowledgeable beyond the necessary information to be provided to a tourist and speaking Spanish was a blessing because my friend doesn't speak English.
I was very impressed with Patricia who gave us an excellent customer service beyond expectations and
my friend left the premises with the highest opinion of this place. It was a pleasure being there.
